Dylan drove us to the airport nice and early. Of course we have been bombarded with news stories all week about TSA incompetence and the concomitant airport crowds. Well there were no crowds. We had nothing but time. Rebecca got a pedicure, and we both had massages. Good way to start.
We boarded our plane for Chicago around 5:30. No hassles. Getting upgraded to first class'll do that. They gave us free entertainment players and a decent dinner, too. We landed smoothly and early, then walked to the Hilton Hotel attached to O'Hare.
Tomorrow, we'll go up to Northwestern to take our niece Hana and her friend out to brunch. We're eager to see her.
Now, if only I can figure out how to post a few pictures, I'll be happy.
